Hello, I'm Larry and this is my story. Three years ago I lost every thing I own in my home and my church to hurricane Katrina. At first it seemed that all was lost, but then the creative spirit that God gave me kicked in. Living in a FEMA trailer for two years after the storm I decorated the inside as a house and the out side as a lush garden complete with dry stacked brick walls, pavered walkways, mulched gardens, night lighting, a fountain and a 12' round domed screen house with chandelier. These efforts won me two awards with the Inside Out magazine and my first meeting with Renee Peck the editor. Since then two more articles have followed and looking back I realized how much I had to offer. I realize that in my own life I have been changing my living spaces since I was 13 years old. In all those years I have touched friends and families with great design, lush gardens and beautiful weddings. Some pictures have survived the storm(since I evacuated with them) and there have been new projects photographed since the storm and now is my opportunity to share them with you.
